Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, FOLLOW NOAHIDES/NOAHIDE GROUPS ONLINE - PLEASE
As faithful Catholics, we are called to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ to all nations (Matthew 28:19), sharing the fullness of God’s revelation with love and charity. Today, I invite you to join our counter-Noahide ministry, a vital effort to engage with the growing Noahide movement—a group of non-Jews who adhere to the Seven Laws of Noah, rooted in Jewish tradition. This movement, while grounded in a sincere desire to honor God, often rejects the divinity of Jesus Christ and the truths of our Catholic faith, presenting challenges to both evangelization and our own understanding of our beliefs. By participating in this ministry, you can help bring the light of the Gospel to Noahides and strengthen your own faith by understanding their arguments. I encourage you to take an active role by following Noahides and their organizations online, engaging in respectful dialogue, and reaching out through emails to share the Catholic perspective.
How You Can Participate
I warmly invite you to join this ministry by taking the following steps:
  1. Follow Noahides and Noahide Groups Online
The internet, particularly platforms like X, is a vibrant space where Noahides and their organizations share their beliefs, host discussions, and promote their teachings. By following as many Noahide individuals and groups as possible—such as the Noahide Academy, United Noahide Academies, or other communities—you can stay informed about their activities and arguments. For example, Noahides often cite scriptures like Deuteronomy 6:4 (the Shema) or Numbers 23:19 to argue against Jesus’ divinity, claiming that God cannot take human form. By observing these discussions, you can learn their key objections, such as the rejection of the Incarnation or the Trinity, and prepare to respond with Catholic truths, like John 1:14 (“The Word became flesh”) or Colossians 1:15 (Christ as “the image of the invisible God”).
    • Action: Search for Noahide groups on X using terms like “Noahide,” “Seven Laws,” or “Bnei Noach.” Follow their accounts, join their forums, and engage respectfully in comments or discussions, sharing Catholic perspectives when appropriate. For instance, when a Noahide claims that Jesus’ human form violates monotheism, you might reference Genesis 18, where the Lord (YHVH) appears as a man, as a foreshadowing of the Incarnation.
  2. Interact with Noahides to Share the Catholic Faith
Engaging directly with Noahides online allows you to present the Catholic faith with charity and clarity. The Noahide rejection of Jesus often stems from a misunderstanding of Christian theology, such as viewing the Incarnation as idolatry or the New Covenant as superseding the Torah. By participating in these conversations, you can explain that Jesus fulfills the Torah (Matthew 5:17), that baptism is the entry into the New Covenant (Mark 16:16), and that the Church honors the Jewish roots of our faith (Romans 11:18). Your interactions can plant seeds of truth, inviting Noahides to consider the fullness of revelation in Christ.
    • Action: Respond to Noahide posts or comments with questions or insights that bridge their beliefs with Catholicism. For example, if a Noahide cites Deuteronomy 13:1-5 against new revelations, you could gently point to Jeremiah 31:31-34, which prophesies a new covenant fulfilled in Christ (Hebrews 8:8-13). Always approach these exchanges with humility and respect, as the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC 839) affirms the special relationship between Catholics and Jews, which extends to those drawn to Jewish traditions like Noahidism.
  3. Contact Noahide Organizations via Email
Many Noahide organizations, such as the Noahide World Center or AskNoah.org, provide contact information for inquiries. Writing emails to these groups is a powerful way to initiate dialogue, share Catholic teachings, and learn more about their beliefs. You might ask about their views on Jesus’ role as Messiah or explain how Catholic sacramental theology builds on the Torah’s covenantal framework. For instance, you could highlight how baptism fulfills circumcision (Colossians 2:11-12) or how the Eucharist echoes the Passover (1 Corinthians 5:7). These emails can open doors for ongoing correspondence, fostering mutual understanding and evangelization.
    • Action: Visit Noahide websites, locate their contact forms or email addresses, and send thoughtful messages. A sample email might begin: “Dear [Organization], I am a Catholic interested in learning about the Noahide laws. Could you explain why you believe the Torah is sufficient without the Christian sacraments? I’d also like to share how Catholics see Jesus as fulfilling the Torah’s promises, such as in Isaiah 53.” Keep your tone respectful, inviting dialogue rather than debate.
Why This Ministry Matters
Participating in this counter-Noahide ministry is a vital expression of our Catholic mission to evangelize and defend the faith. By engaging with Noahides, you help counter their arguments against Jesus, such as the claim that His divinity contradicts monotheism or that Christian sacraments are unnecessary. These interactions also strengthen your own faith, as you deepen your understanding of scripture and tradition in response to Noahide challenges. The Church Fathers, like St. Justin Martyr, engaged with Jewish and pagan thinkers to proclaim Christ, and we are called to follow their example in our digital age.
Moreover, this ministry prevents Catholics from being led astray by the Noahide movement’s appeal. Some Catholics, drawn to the Noahide emphasis on biblical morality, may question practices like infant baptism or Sunday worship. By learning Noahide arguments and responding with Catholic truths—such as the fulfillment of the Law in Christ (Romans 10:4) or the necessity of baptism for salvation (John 3:5)—you can guide fellow Catholics back to the Church’s fullness. The Catholic faith, with its sacraments, liturgy, and apostolic tradition, offers a complete path to salvation that surpasses the Noahide framework’s limited scope.
Encouragement to Stay Committed
Dear friends, your participation in this ministry is a work of love, bringing the light of Christ to those who seek God but do not yet know Him fully. The Noahide movement, while rooted in a desire for righteousness, lacks the transformative grace of the New Covenant, which we experience through the Eucharist, baptism, and the Church’s communion. As you follow Noahides online and reach out to their organizations, trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit, who equips us to speak truth with charity (Ephesians 4:15). Let us remain steadfast in our Catholic faith, confident that Jesus is “the way, and the truth, and the life” (John 14:6), and that our Church, founded on Peter’s rock (Matthew 16:18), is the home where all can find salvation.
Join us in this counter-Noahide ministry. Follow Noahide groups, engage in dialogue, and send emails to their organizations. Together, we can share the beauty of the Catholic faith, address Noahide objections, and invite all to encounter Christ, the fulfillment of God’s promises to Israel and the world.
In Christ’s love
